Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking an interview-position courier in Grande Prairie/Clairmont to ensure timely delivery of packages along fixed routes. The role involves reviewing orders, loading/unloading, and delivering with exceptional client service.

Flexible shift opportunities will be determined by business needs and permitted hours. Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma and a valid G/Class 5 license, plus up to one year of customer-facing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.
• One year customer oriented business experience preferred.
• In the province of Quebec, bilingual (French and English) is required.

Responsibilities

• Review orders prior to delivery and ensure timely delivery to predetermined customers on specific routes.
• Load/unload vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to our client base.
• Maintain safety and efficiency while operating in a busy courier environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Post Secondary:

• High school diploma/educational equivalent.

Professional accreditation/certification:

• Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.

• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations an asset.

Interpersonal Skill Requirements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment

Additional Details:

Flex/ Casual courier for Grande Prairie/Clairmont. Requires at least 2 days of availability during week. Closed on Weekends. Salary is 22.30$ hourly
