Job summary

A municipal government is seeking a full-time Fleet Shop Helper in Mission, BC. The ideal candidate will perform equipment maintenance, operate a forklift, and requires a Class 3 driver's license. This role offers $33.53 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package upon successful completion of the probationary period. Work hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school graduation or equivalent.
• Considerable experience in operating trucks and equipment.
• Valid Class 3 British Columbia driver's license with Air Endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform checks, upkeep, and minor maintenance to vehicles and equipment.
• Clean the garage and related areas, fuel and clean vehicles.
• Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and moving parts and equipment.
