Job summary

Clintar Winnipeg is hiring a full‑time Shop Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently across summer and winter operations. Ideal for those who value safety, seek challenges, and adapt to a varied schedule.

You will service mowers, tractors, trucks, and landscape equipment, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and maintain repair records while working with the Operations team to ensure reliable equipment during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanic or equipment technician experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment, trucks, landscaping equipment, or small engines.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and with the Operations team.
• Strong organizational skills and ownership of equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Summer Operations: Maintain commercial mowers, zero-turns, tractors, skid steers, and other equipment; service small engines; maintain equipment; perform oil changes, greasing, and inspections; diagnose problems and complete repairs; keep service records.
• Winter Operations: Prepare and winterize equipment; maintain loaders, trucks, skid steers, snowplows, and attachments; perform pre/post-storm inspections and emergency repairs.
• Preventative Maintenance: Schedule inspections; track service intervals; identify upcoming repairs; keep repair records.
