We are hiring a Fleet and Facility Associate!

Action Furnace is a residential HVAC company located in Alberta. Reporting to the Fleet and Facility Manager, the Fleet and Facility Associate is responsible for the setup of Company fleet vehicles and maintenance of the facility. They will work along side the Leadership and Warehouse teams to ensure all fleet vehicles are tracked, stocked, and safe for technician use. This individual is also responsible for implementing and coordinating maintenance plans, addressing fleet and facility issues, and supporting a well functioning and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

This position will include, but not be limited to the following :

Fleet Support
  • Repair and maintain company equipment
  • Ensure employees are completing their weekly vehicle inspections
  • Ensure employees are completing their fire extinguisher inspections
Fleet Organization
  • Schedule all necessary vehicle repairs, windshield replacements, and body work.
  • Schedule technicians to complete oil changes and brake checks
Fleet Setup
  • Schedule and deliver new fleet vehicles for decal wrapping and shelving
  • Stock and inventory new trucks after shelving is installed
  • Track inventory in all online systems
Facility Support
  • Ensure parking lots and walkways are clear of snow or obstruction
  • Ensure building is in safe condition (locks work, doors close, etc)
  • Monitor the condition of the recycling, scrap metal, and garbage receptacles
Warehouse Support
  • Assist with warehouse department with receiving, staging and replenishments if required
  • Communicate with the warehouse team regarding inventory levels
Qualifications Include
  • Valid drivers license for 3+ years with a clean driver abstract
  • Small engine or compressor repair skills

  • Ability to work individually and part of a team
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is an asset
