Job summary

A leading mining company is seeking a maintenance professional for their Cloudbreak mine in Southwestern Ontario. This role involves ensuring all assets operate at full capacity and contributes to safety and production goals. Successful candidates will have an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate and experience in fixed plant processing. The position follows an 8 Days on, 6 Off FIFO roster from Perth.

Job description

Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 8 Days 6 Off - FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Port Hedland, and Broome.

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor at Cloudbreak OPF, this role will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance functions for the operational process plant. The successful execution of this work will be paramount in the site achieving safety and production targets.

  • Maintain all assets to operational capacity whilst consistently striving to increase process efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
  • Experience working within a Fixed Plant (wet plant) processing environment.
  • Familiarity and background in working with pumps.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working on screens, crushers & hydraulic systems.
