Job summary

Fit4Less Burlington is seeking a friendly Host to welcome members and guests, assist with memberships, and keep the club clean and organized throughout the day. You will assist with automated and front-desk processes while promoting the brand.

This role requires teamwork, good communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Training on safety, WHMIS and CPR may be provided; the position offers a minimum-wage rate with opportunities for advancement and a free fitness membership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or working toward completion.
• 1 year teamwork and/or volunteer experience.
• WHMIS
• First Aid, CPR-A & AED Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly customer interaction on the workout floor and at the club, assisting members and guests.
• Sells and assists with memberships and membership management processes.
• Keeps the club clean and tidy, completing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Reports incidents or deficiencies following standard procedures and assists the manager as needed.

# **FIT4LE****SS****HOST****Who is a Host?**The Host provides friendly customer and membership services and completes daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to standards and expectations to deliver Fit4Less’ friendly, clean, and automated brand.**Job Summary:**Performs and completes cleanliness tasks and duties to ensure safety for everyone in the club to deliver consistent cleanliness for members, associates and prospective members.:* Cleans and tidies to the cleanliness standards and expectations as outlined* in cleaning and inspection guidelines.* Provides friendly customer interaction when cleanliness tasks are being completed on the workout floor.* Contributes to the everybody cleans mindset.* Completes and reads daily, weekly and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications and training to achieve standard expectations.* Informs and reports deficiencies using standard guideline expectations to engage appropriate actions, individuals and resolutions.Provides friendly customer service that follow Fit4Less guidelines, processes and procedures to deliver consistent service to members and prospective members.:* Welcomes everybody warmly in the club with hi, bye and thank you.* Helps and educates members and guests with memberships, amenities, automation and processes.* Promotes black card amenities and memberships.* Contributes to a courteous and friendly workplace environment to meet Fit4Less’ brand and required expectations.* Completes tasks and responsibilities by the set timelines.* Completes and reads daily, weekly and monthly tasks, communications and training to standard expectations.* Informs and works with the manager for progress relating to customer service and escalation support.* Addresses, informs and reports incidents of concern using the standard process expectations.Sells and suggests memberships and provides assistance for membership management to support Fit4Less purpose. The expected annual total compensation is $14,200 determined by the expected total number of scheduled hours per year.
