Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi‑automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 5 years or more experience in welding.
• Proficiency in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
• Experience with Arc welding machine, Butt or seam resistance welding machine, Gas welding machine, Soldering machine, Spot welding machine.
• Ability to work with steel, iron, and heavy metals.
• Authorization to work in Canada.
