Job summary

Oceans Edge Seafoods Ltd. in Beaver River, NS is hiring for a seasonal full-time role. Work includes unloading and handling fish and shellfish, operating a forklift, weighing and packing product, and keeping work areas clean. Training is provided for applicants with no prior experience.

Position requires physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods, and the ability to work early mornings and various shifts. This on-site role does not offer remote options and starts as soon as possible.

• Unload fish and shellfish from fishing vessels and transport them by hand to the work area

• Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight and pack fish in ice
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
• Sort fish according to species, weight and destination
