FIRST ENGINEER

Location: Tsawwassen

Join BC Ferries as a First Engineer at our Tsawwassen terminal and be part of our engineering team dedicated to enhancing service resilience by increasing vessel capacity and interoperability. As a First Engineer, you will receive training on some of our most technically advanced vessels. You will bring a broad range of technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ship’s machinery and systems, with a strong knowledge of safety practices.

The ideal candidate is a passionate and innovative engineer with the experience necessary for the safe management and operation of ship machinery and equipment. You should align with our values of safety, exceeding customer expectations, and operational performance.

Applicants holding a Transport Canada Second Class Motor Certification or higher may be considered, contingent upon meeting all qualifications and experience requirements.
