Design Works Engineering is seeking an experienced engineering professional to assist in inspection, design, and coordination of mechanical projects. The role emphasizes CAD drafting, shop drawings, and preparing specifications for fire protection systems.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, with 5+ years of relevant experience and willingness to work on-site in urban environments. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with mechanical focus.
• Experience with CAD tools and design development.
• Certified or eligible for provincial engineering association is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
• Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications.
• Create and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare standards and schedules.
• Write specifications and technical reports.
• Support project management and shop drawing preparation.
• Develop engineering designs and drawings and evaluate technical designs.
