Job Description

We are seeking experienced Fire Protection Sales Representatives to develop multi-market business for all of the company's engineered products and solutions. This role involves selling technical products and solutions by calling on engineering firms, contractors, and supporting local Victaulic distributors. Market focus will be fire protection systems with commitment to extensive overnight travel as required.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and distributors to develop territory business
  • Plan and execute promotional activities including presentations, trade shows, training seminars, and customer site visits
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate inter-territorial opportunities
  • Research and report market intelligence, competitive information, and sales forecasts for strategic planning
  • Manage pricing within guidelines, improve customer specifications, and gather complete quotation requirements
  • Maintain current product knowledge and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Report activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in fire protection, construction, or related industries (HVAC, industrial, building products, mining, oil, municipal, or PVF)
  • Proven ability to build long-term relationships with contractors, owners, and distributors
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and mechanical aptitude
  • Bachelor's degree is an asset, but not required
  • Willingness to travel at least 10% within designated territory

Salary: $80k+ (based on experience) + (car, uncapped commission & bonus)
