Job summary

Everguard Fire Equipment Inc. in Kamloops seeks a Permanent Full-Time Fire Alarm Technician (NOC 22311) to service and program fire alarm systems across client sites. You will read schematics, install devices, and troubleshoot to ensure compliance with safety codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ field experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems across various industries.
• College/ Trade level education in Electronics or Fire Protection Technology with applicable fire service certifications and permits.
• Note: All combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, modify, program, and service fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, specs, and manuals.
• Racking panels, wiring, devices, and conduit installation.
