Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Grader Operator for work on a Northern Saskatchewan project.

You will operate Cat 14M/16M graders with GPS grade control to achieve precise elevations and grades per design, and perform site development tasks with a focus on safety and quality. You will read grade plans, stake layouts, and digital models while maintaining equipment and coordinating with survey crews and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating finish graders on civil construction or site development projects.
• Experience using GPS grade control systems (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret grade plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Valid CSTS 2020 certification required.
• Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification.
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

• Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition and report maintenance requirements or concerns promptly.
• Interpret site plans, grade stakes, and digital grade models to ensure work is completed accurately.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, survey crews, and other team members.
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company, client, and legislated safety requirements.

You are an experienced Finish Grader Operator with a strong background in civil earthworks construction. As part of the Ledcor team on the NXE Rook 1 Project, you will play a key role in fine grading and site preparation for the NXE Uranium Mine Development. You are highly skilled in operating graders equipped with GPS machine control systems to achieve precise elevations, slopes, and final grades that meet project specifications.

• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Valid CSTS 2020 certification required
• Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions

• 14 days on / 7 days off rotational schedule
