Job summary

Dawson College in Montreal seeks an artist-educator to deliver college-level teaching in fine arts and participate in college activities.

The role requires a MFA or equivalent, a strong professional practice in contemporary art, and English language proficiency; French knowledge is an asset.

Qualifications

• Master's in Fine Arts or equivalent degree.
• Portfolio to be presented in selection process.
• Specialization in one or more Fine Art disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, digital media.
• Teaching experience at the college level is an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills are essential.
• General knowledge of French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College.

• Excellent English communication skills essential
• General knowledge of French is an asset.
