Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Financial Services Representative to join our Personal and Business Banking team in Ottawa. You will meet with clients, understand their goals, and provide tailored solutions to help their financial success.

You may work at multiple banking centres within reasonable travel distance and some evenings/weekends. You bring a year of client experience, a Mutual Funds License, and a client-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of client-facing experience with sales results is required.
  • Mutual Funds License or equivalent accreditation is required.
  • Accreditation and good standing in mutual funds/Canadian securities is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and advise on solutions.
  • Build and deepen client relationships through marketing and outreach.
  • Use technology and banking applications to help clients manage their banking needs.

As a Financial Services Representative, you’ll foster key relationships with clients, understand their financial and personal goals, provide informative and tailored service, and recommend the right products and solutions that will help their financial success. You’re flexible to work our banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends.
