Job summary

RBC in Mississauga is hiring for Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning roles. You’ll build a portfolio of mass affluent clients, provide holistic planning, and work with internal partners to deliver tailored investment solutions. Base salary plus unlimited earning potential with commission options.

You’ll manage client reviews, expand your network, and leverage RBC’s resources to help clients reach long-term goals while enjoying a supportive, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• Financial planning designation (PFP, QAFP or CFP) required.
• Mutual Funds license (IFIC or CSC) required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial planning.
• Proven networking and client acquisition skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and solutions using RBC investment and portfolio solutions.
• Acquire and consolidate existing and new RBC clients and assets.

As an RBC Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning, you develop relationships with and create custom investment solutions for prospective and existing RBC clients. What will you do?

Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning

• Provide tailor‑made financial planning advice and solutions using our unparalleled array of investment and portfolio solutions, including best‑in‑class proprietary and select third‑party mutual fund solutions
• Acquire and consolidate existing and new‑to‑RBC clients and assets
• Connect clients with the right RBC team members to help continuously meet their needs
• Develop external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and your centres of influence

Financial Planner

• Provide tailor‑made financial planning advice and help clients reach their goals, using our unparalleled array of investment, credit, and everyday banking solutions
• Actively maintain and expand your portfolio of clients using value‑based relationship management practices, achieving performance targets
• Cultivate relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize business opportunities and referrals

What do you need to succeed?

Must‑have

• Financial Planning Designation (PFP®, QAFP™ or CFP®)
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)
