Job summary

RBC seeks an Investment and Retirement Planner to create customised solutions for clients and to grow assets through targeted prospecting and referrals. You will work with internal partners to deliver world-class advice and a broad array of investment products.

Develop relationships with clients and collaborate with RBC teams to continuously meet client needs and goals, while leveraging a strong referral network and digital tools to enhance service.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognized financial planning designation (QAFP, PFP, CFP or CIFP).
• Mutual funds license (IFIC or CSC) required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial planning.
• Proven networking and client acquisition skills.
• Ability to cultivate strong partner relationships.
• Digital savviness and ability to use mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and solutions using RBC’s investment portfolio.
• Acquire and consolidate existing and new-to-RBC clients and assets.
• Connect clients with the right RBC team members to meet needs.
• Develop external business referral sources through networking and marketing.

• Develop external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and your centers of influence
