Job summary

CFMWS is seeking a SISIP Financial Planner to design comprehensive financial plans for CAF members and their families. The role emphasizes deep discovery, tailored investment, retirement and estate planning, and close collaboration with SISIP advisory specialists and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
• Registered to sell Mutual Funds (MFDA/AMF)
• Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) OR Personal Financial Planner® (PFP) designation
• Maintain FPSC CFP/PFP licensee status
• Investment Funds Course (IFC)

Responsibilities

• Develop personal financial plans including debt management, budgeting, education, investment, risk, retirement, estate and tax planning
• Develop business plans and strategies to grow and retain clients in the assigned territories
• Perform comprehensive client discovery to understand goals and prepare tailored recommendations
• Deliver presentations virtually or at Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) and deepen partner relationships
• Utilize CRM software for client management and business development
• Adhere to KYK Know Your Customer and Know Your Product processes
