About the role

Known internally as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), as a Financial Planner in our retail branch network, you will be part of the branch sales team responsible for contributing to the team’s success by meeting or exceeding deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of your assigned client portfolio.

Your primary role is to establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with existing clients and clients referred by branch partners.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Conducting in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, using financial planning tools to support clients’ financial goals.
  2. Uncovering and solving clients’ needs, providing trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
  3. Crafting personalized financial strategies and solutions by identifying client needs with a goal-oriented approach.
  4. Fostering engagement, educating clients, offering insights, and delivering expert advice.
  5. Building long-term relationships focused on client experience and satisfaction.
  6. Leveraging technology to enhance client interactions and streamline financial planning.
  7. Achieving targets to balance client satisfaction with business growth.
Qualifications we seek:
  1. Experience in financial planning and investment sales (preferred).
  2. Completed CIFP CFP designation or equivalent recognized by the bank.
  3. Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative, with completed Investment Funds in Canada or equivalent.
  4. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team environment.
  5. Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.
