Job summary

Affinity Credit Union in Regina is seeking a Financial Planner to help secure the financial future of members. The role focuses on developing personalized financial plans and delivering exceptional service in community-based Advice Centres.

You will use technology to educate members, drive sales and build lasting relationships, while promoting Affinity through outreach and outreach activities that generate new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

We’re looking for someone to help secure the financial future of our members serving as a Financial Planner in one of our Regina Advice Centres. This position allows you to be mobile so you can concentrate on providing exceptional service and build relationships with members in your community or region.

What you’ve got:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Financial planning designation (CFP, QAFP, or PFP)
• Mutual funds course (CSC, IFIC, or equivalent) and maintenance of registration eligibility
• Successful completion of Responsible Investment (RI) Course within 12 months of starting
