About the Opportunity

• Monitor and review financial transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Conduct periodic internal audits and risk assessments on financial processes
• Ensure proper handling and reporting of contracts, trust funds, and other regulated financial instruments
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during reviews and inspections
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and implement compliance procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial and regulatory changes
• Prepare and submit compliance reports and documentation to senior management
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance and financial policies
• Investigate any financial discrepancies or suspected breaches of compliance, and recommend corrective actions

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial compliance, or accounting, preferably in a regulated or nonprofit environment
• Familiarity with trust fund accounting, donor fund management, and nonprofit financial standards is a strong asset
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary Range

$25 - $27 an hour
