Sun Life Financial in Edmonton seeks a Financial Centre Administrator to support client service and the daily operation of a Financial Centre. You will manage payments, reporting, mail, and facilities while maintaining strong partner relationships.

The role requires multitasking, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior office and client-service experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 3–6 years of experience; degree or college diploma preferred
  • Experience in an office environment, client service roles, or in a retail setting
  • Experience reconciling accounts or financial transactions; ledger or bookkeeping experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of financial planning and services is beneficial
  • Experience in financial services or related industry is advantageous

Job Description: This role is in office The role of the Financial Centre Administrator (FCA) is pivotal to the smooth and efficient operation of a Financial Centre (FC). The focus ranges from supporting providing client service, reporting payments and administrative accountabilities. The FC administrator maintains strong relationships with several business partners, to help create and maintain a positive and energetic work environment. The successful applicant will be creative, an innovative thinker, ability to multitask with strong organizational and PC skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritize work with a sense of urgency as required.

Main accountabilities
  • Provide administrative and general office support aligned with all Sun Life policies and procedures
  • Answer telephone and greets clients
  • Responsible for reporting payments & expense cheque routines
  • Process mail
  • Facilities management (premises & equipment)
  • Administration of client inventory
  • Maintain information on targets and results as well as prepare reports
  • Coordinate meetings

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
