Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Financial Analyst, Operations in Ontario to provide financial analysis and business decision support to Finance Operations leadership, District Operators and Store Operators/Franchisees.

The role focuses on moderate analysis, forecasting, budgeting and cost-reduction opportunities across cross-functional teams, with a strong emphasis on GAAP/IFRS compliance and reporting in SAP, Longview and BW.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business and minimum 2 years relevant experience or Diploma and minimum 4 years relevant experience.
• Finance experience in corporate operations is an asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Suite, Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience working in a Retail environment is an asset.
