A financial institution in Canada is seeking a Financial Analyst responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial data. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities include financial reporting, data reconciliation, and improving financial processes. This role offers a competitive salary and is eligible for an annual bonus.
Salary Range: $55,169.00 To $75,857.00
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on financial data, financial projections, and results of analysis.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another related field of study; or 0 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree desired, but not required.
This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions effectively. Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical literature, and government regulations.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and profitability models (SQL; Crystal report writing tools, advanced modeling skills using Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access) and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
