Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst for a large banking client's Technology organization in Toronto. This initial 3-month contract focuses on monthly billing processes, accruals, reporting, and stakeholder coordination across multiple sources.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in accounting, billing, or financial analysis, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly accruals and recurring billing, invoice and payment reconciliation
• Prepare financial reporting and variance analysis; respond to transactional queries
• Maintain strong communication with senior stakeholders and coordinate information approvals

Insight Global is looking for a Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst to join a large banking client’s Technology organization on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. This L7 role is ideal for someone with 3–4 years of accounting, billing, or financial analysis experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. The primary focus will be managing monthly billing processes, including gathering maintenance costs, contractor hours, timesheets, invoice details, and other technology-related expenses from multiple sources, obtaining approvals, and consolidating the information into final invoices. The successful candidate will also support monthly accruals and recurring billing, invoice and payment reconciliation, financial reporting, variance analysis, and transactional queries. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills are important, as the role involves frequent follow-ups with senior stakeholders to obtain information and approvals. Candidates should be comfortable using Excel, including VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP, while experience with SAP or Jira is considered an asset but is not required. A CPA or CFA designation would also be considered an asset but is not necessary. This is a hybrid position with regular on-site work, and the successful candidate should be available to start ASAP following onboarding.
