Job summary

QNX is seeking a Financial Analyst to support day-to-day financial processes, reconcile accounts, and process journal entries in a fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional teams and gain hands-on exposure to month-end close, order processing, and audits.

The role offers a base salary range of $60,800.00 to $85,500.00 CAD, plus the VIP incentive program, with a strong focus on accuracy and collaboration. 40 hours weekly, on-site in Ottawa, benefits included.

Qualifications

  • Experience in finance, accounting, co-op, internship, or similar role is preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation processes.
  • Working knowledge of Excel including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables; interest in developing stronger analytical skills.
  • Exposure to financial or ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle is an asset.
  • Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or other data-visualization tools is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to accurate work.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and work effectively with colleagues across functions.
  • A proactive learning mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries; support month-end close per timelines and controls.
  • Perform account reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Review and process sales orders in line with policies and internal controls.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success and others to resolve order-processing issues.
  • Assist with audit requests and documentation supporting compliance.
  • Learn and apply company policies, systems, and finance best practices.

Build a strong foundation in finance while helping turn accurate data into practical business insight. As a Financial Analyst, you’ll support the day-to-day financial processes that help our team make informed decisions. You’ll work closely with experienced finance colleagues and cross-functional partners, gaining hands-on exposure to order processing, month-end activities, and reconciliations. What You’ll Do

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range

$60,800.00 - $85,500.00
