Job Description

We are currently looking to fill the position of a Financial Analyst. The selected candidate will work with the accounting team located at our head office in Les Cèdres, near Vaudreuil‑Dorion.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare various month end close Journal Entries and analysis.
  • Analyze inventory accounts and maintenance costs.
  • Capital expense tracking, prepare monthly journal entry along with capital reporting.
  • Responsible for overseeing activities that are related to the handling and processing of insurance claims for helicopters, vehicles and other assets.
  • Assemble and document all costs related to insurance claims for review by senior management and insurance adjuster.
  • Liaison between management, insurance adjuster and policy holder.
  • Review status of aircraft components to determine insured value.
  • Opening and closing work orders.
  • Data entry of job tickets.
  • Participates in the annual budget processes and analysis of monthly variances.
  • Produces management reports for various internal users and management.
  • Participate in external audit process and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
  • Preferably 2 years experience in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written); being a pan‑Canadian company, bilingualism is required to ensure communications between all bases across the country.
  • Proficient with Excel (advanced features); knowledge of AS400 an asset.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, self‑starter.
  • Good organizational skills.
