Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our Canadian Banking Branch network in Kelowna, BC. You will deliver exceptional service, uncover client needs, and guide customers through comprehensive financial planning while building lasting relationships.

You will educate clients on insights and investment options, work toward CIFP Diploma, and contribute to branch sales goals within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Appetite to build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of investment products with ongoing CFA/CIFP-style education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify customer needs and listen to understand their goals.
• Educate customers, provide relevant insights and expert advice.
• Build customers' comprehensive financial plans using a holistic approach.
• Nurture strong, long-standing relationships at the branch level.
