Job summary

Iaawg is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our National Branch in a hybrid environment. You will support clients with wealth-management services, ensuring compliant, personalized guidance and building your expertise in a dynamic advisory setting.

You will handle KYC processes, open new accounts, rebalance portfolios, and execute trades, while maintaining meticulous client records and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, GICs and asset allocation.
  • Strong understanding of industry compliance regulations.
  • Professional telephone manner and ability to direct conversations effectively.
  • Demonstrates initiative, autonomy and ability to work independently.
  • IFIC or CSC certification is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a financial services environment.
  • LLQP is an asset for this role.
  • Advanced French and English proficiency required for client interactions in Quebec and across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledgeable, accurate, and proactive service to clients.
  • Ensure client information is accurate and up to date.
  • Complete KYC updates and open new accounts.

  • Enter client trades (purchases, switches, redemptions).
  • Follow up on missing documentation required to process client accounts.
  • Maintain client files across internal systems.
  • Document client interactions accurately and promptly.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and reassign requests when appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Provide knowledgeable, accurate, and proactive service to clients.
  • Ensure client information is accurate and up to date.
  • Complete Know Your Client (KYC) updates and open new accounts.
  • Make investment recommendations and rebalance portfolios.
  • Enter client trades (purchases, switches, redemptions).

  • Document all client interactions accurately and promptly.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and reassign requests when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Known for knowledge of financial instruments (mutual funds, ETFs, GICs, asset allocation).
  • Strong understanding of industry and firm compliance regulations.
  • Demonstrates strong professional telephone manner, capable of directing conversations effectively.
  • Recognized for initiative, autonomy, and the ability to work independently.
  • A valid IFIC or CSC course would be required.
  • Has 2 years of experience in similar industry/field.
  • LLQP would be a big asset in this role.
  • Advanced level of French and English required; must communicate regularly with clients in Quebec and across Canada and international clients regarding trades, investments and account related details on a daily basis.
