Job summary

Kassen Recruitment is seeking a Finance Systems Specialist to lead ERP implementations, optimize finance workflows, and partner with finance, IT, and consultants to deliver scalable solutions remotely. You will drive requirements, configurations, and training across multiple business units, ensuring strong controls and adoption.

You will collaborate on billing, revenue recognition, intercompany processes, and period-end reporting while maintaining documentation and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, accounting, finance, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems, functional administration, implementations, or finance systems optimization.
• Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements or complex troubleshooting initiatives.
• Strong functional knowledge of financial systems including general ledger, accounts payable, intercompany accounting, and banking processes.
• Experience with revenue management, billing, or project accounting functionality is highly desirable.
• Understanding of the accounting principles behind system configurations including revenue recognition, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Experience gathering requirements, assessing business impacts, and translating stakeholder needs into practical system solutions.
• Strong project coordination skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to guide non-technical users and collaborate with leadership and external partners.
• Proactive, adaptable problem-solver able to own and move work forward independently.
• Experience supporting multiple entities is an asset.
• Relevant system certifications or project management training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial system implementations, enhancements, and post-launch activities across multiple business units.
• Manage day-to-day system support requests, prioritize issues, assess business impacts, and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Configure and improve system workflows, user permissions, reports, and other functional capabilities to meet business needs.
• Partner with finance teams to improve processes related to billing, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and period-end reporting.
• Gather business requirements, evaluate potential solutions, and translate operational needs into clear functional specifications.
• Coordinate stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams throughout testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
