Job description

✨ Overview

Tetrix is a fast-growing startup on a mission to empower institutional investors to confidently invest in alternative markets (think Bloomberg, but for private markets). Our AI-native product transforms messy, unstructured private market data into real-time insights, combining automated document retrieval, AI-powered data extraction, and on-demand portfolio analytics – all in one seamless platform. We are growing quickly to becoming a category-defining product, and are working with some of the world’s leading capital allocators. This is a unique opportunity to join a talented and driven team that wants to build next‑generation infrastructure in financial markets, and is backed by stellar investors that include Innovation Endeavors, Eric Schmidt’s VC firm, and angels from BlackRock, CPPIB, SoftBank, Lending Club, and Plaid.

🤷🏽️ Who We Are

We are a small but mighty startup with deep industry background and expertise in both financial markets and modern technologies. We’ve worked hard to build a culture of trust, high ownership, and curiosity—where everyone feels empowered to contribute, challenge ideas, and grow together. We are led by our two co‑founders, Olivier (CEO) & Naunidh (CTO), who met on the first day of school whilst pursuing their MBAs at Stanford and co‑founded Tetrix in the Summer of 23.

🤞 Who You Are
  • You love financial data – you thrive in data‑heavy environments and enjoy working with financial statements, reconciliations, and data validation processes.
  • You’re detail‑obsessed – accuracy is your superpower, and you take pride in ensuring financial data is precise and reliable.
  • You have a strong financial background – you have 2‑3 years of experience in accounting, fund administration or finance with a solid grasp of financial metrics.
  • You’re a team player – you enjoy collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve data processes and contribute to company‑wide success.
  • You understand financial markets – familiarity with institutional investors and private investment markets is a strong plus.
  • You’re proficient in English – given the international nature of our clientele, strong proficiency in English is a key asset.
💻 What You’ll Do
  • Deliver high quality data – validate and reconcile fund financial data extracted by the Tetrix platform, ensuring it meets high standards of precision. The ability to correctly interpret financial statement data is key.
  • Enhance data processes – continuously develop and refine internal processes for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting to support scale and deliver consistent client value.
  • Cultivate meaningful client partnerships – you’ll develop deep expertise in clients’ data, acting as a strategic partner throughout their onboarding and ongoing engagement with Tetrix.
  • Collaborate across teams – work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to enhance data workflows and resolve client needs efficiently.
🙌🏽 Why join us?
  • You’ll be rewarded – in addition to the base cash salary you’ll have meaningful equity upside in the startup.
  • You’ll have impact – your work will directly contribute to ensuring the quality of data that institutional investors rely on to make informed investment decisions and you will have a voice in the Tetrix platform development.
  • You’ll be supported – we’re committed to your success and will invest in your professional growth. You’ll have access to mentorship, training, and a collaborative team that has your back.
  • You’ll learn and grow – working at a startup means you’ll gain skills and experiences that will serve you for the rest of your career.
  • You’ll enjoy the perks – from unlimited vacation days to healthcare insurance, retirement savings plans, and a vibrant team culture, we’ve got you covered.
  • You’ll have fun – we make sure to celebrate successes—whether it’s in the office or out.
One more thing

If this role sounds exciting but you’re second‑guessing whether you’re “qualified” enough—please apply. Great talent doesn’t always fit neatly into a checklist, and we know that underrepresented folks often underestimate their fit. We care more about the ideas you bring, your ability to learn, and your enthusiasm for the work than about whether your resume matches every bullet point. The company we’re building will shape how financial systems work for years to come. That’s why we’re committed to building a team with diverse voices, perspectives, and lived experiences. Diversity isn’t a nice‑to‑have—it’s a must‑have. And we’d love to have you be part of that.
