Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years' experience in the not-for-profit sector, preferably within an Indigenous organization.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and not-for-profit governance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Indigenous language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations of ONWA.
• Lead a team ensuring financial planning and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and improve efficiency.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field

Ability to prepare financial statements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Valid Ontario 'G' driver's license
