Job description

Crypto.com is seeking an experienced (Senior) Finance Manager to lead financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance in Canada. You’ll play a critical role in aligning financial activities with local securities laws (e.g., CIRO, National Instruments), support internal audits, and help build the infrastructure for Crypto.com’s evolving regulatory and financial framework in the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with Canadian Securities regulations, including NI requirements and Restricted Dealer/Marketplace registration.
2. Prepare for CIRO membership by updating financial policies and procedures.
3. Lead regulatory reporting and provide insights to senior management and the Board.
4. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage compliance and reporting requirements.
5. Support audits, tax return preparation, and automation of finance processes.
6. Manage cash flows, reconciliations, and reporting using platforms like NetSuite.
7. Participate in global financial reporting across Crypto.com entities.

Who You Are

1. 5–10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within crypto, securities, or financial services.
2. Deep understanding of CIRO (formerly IIROC) compliance and National Instruments related to trading platforms.
3. Strong command of financial governance for digital assets, custody, and onboarding in the Canadian market.
4. Comfortable with fast-paced environments, cross-functional collaboration, and high-volume data handling.
5. Excellent attention to detail, leadership skills, and stakeholder communication.
