Stadium Vault is seeking its first in-house finance leader to bring accounting in-house and own the monthly close. You will set up systems, processes and automations, partnering with product to ensure books reflect shipments and cash flow.
As the role matures you’ll lead forecasting, budgeting, and investor reporting, with exposure to strategic finance and capital-raising activities. This is a high-intensity, foundational finance role reporting to the CEO.
Stadium Vault is the newest app we launched. Our vision is to turn every fan into a collector by making commerce feel like play. We digitize the experience of collecting real TCG (Pokémon, One Piece) and sports cards, so users can rip packs from our app anywhere while collecting rewards along the way. We've crossed 8-figure GMV, and we're just getting started.
Stadium Vault is built by the team behind Stadium Live, a sports prediction app that reached over 3.5 million users. We've raised $15M to date and are backed by Union Square Ventures, KB Partners, Kevin Durant (35VC), and the founder of NBA Top Shot.
You will be our first in-house finance hire. We're a fast-moving startup with money moving across a large vaulted inventory, a buyback program, and withdrawals across the US and Canada. That means real complexity in inventory, revenue recognition, cash flow, and cross-border tax.
You’ll start as the owner of our accounting function: you’ll work with the product team so our books keep up with what we ship, close on time every month, and give the team visibility on cash position. Right now our books are handled by an outside provider. Your first job is to bring accounting in-house by setting up the systems, processes and automations to make it clean, fast, and reliable. As the foundation gets solid, your role will grow into a strategic finance focus: modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and getting us ready for our next raise. This is a high-intensity role with incredible exposure to the most critical decisions influencing the growth of the business, and reports to the CEO.
