Our client, a leading global financial services organization, is growing its presence in Montreal and is seeking a Finance Manager – Accounting & Management Control to play a key role in strengthening and structuring its Finance function across the Americas.


This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced finance leader who thrives in dynamic, international environments. You will help build structure, lead a talented team, and partner closely with senior leadership in Canada, the U.S., and Europe to ensure operational excellence and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and enhance the finance function for the organization’s Canadian operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounting, reporting, and management control activities.

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, annual budgets, and performance KPIs.

  • Structure and optimize internal finance processes to support growth and efficiency.

  • Supervise two local finance teams (approximately 10 people total) providing services to the U.S. entity.

  • Collaborate closely with senior finance leaders in Canada, the U.S., and Europe on financial reporting, audits, and tax matters.

  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and IFRS.

  • Support local and international tax processes, including corporate tax, VAT, and cross-border considerations.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.

  • Maintain productive relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and internal business partners across departments.
