Controller
The FMD Canada team is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to lead its Accounting Operations and Financial Reporting activities! This focal member of the team will drive the integrity, quality, and availability of financial reporting within the site, along with facilitating the attainment of profitability, growth, and strategic business objectives by providing in-depth financial analysis to understand and explain key drivers. The Finance Lead will synthesize information using financial acumen and business skills to aid leadership in strategic decision making, while influencing messaging and points of course correction. As the trusted business partner of the site’s General Manager, this position operates in a fast-paced private equity environment as a thought leader pacing the financial cadence of the company. The Finance Lead is also responsible for ensuring that the site’s financial statements are accurate by cultivating and monitoring an appropriate control environment and facilitating all statutory and financial audits.
