We are seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partnering - Senior Consultant to join a high-performing Corporate FP&A team within a leading Canadian financial institution. This is a full time role and will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing strategic financial insights, performance measurement, and decision‑support analytics.

The successful candidate will act as a key finance liaison across transformation and enterprise project portfolios, leveraging financial expertise, business intelligence tools, and strong communication skills to influence strategic outcomes and support enterprise‑wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership teams to provide strategic financial support, analysis, and recommendations
  • Lead the development of insightful reporting, forecasting, and financial frameworks that support decision making
  • Conduct advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case evaluation for enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Review and challenge project business cases and financial assumptions for the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) and Enterprise PMO
  • Build strong relationships with business executives to understand priorities, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate complex financial results into actionable insights and communicate findings to senior stakeholders
  • Proactively monitor business performance, flag emerging trends, and recommend strategic actions
  • Champion continuous improvement, leveraging technology and analytics to enhance financial insight and process efficiency
  • Mentor and support junior finance team members where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A / financial analysis / finance business partnering experience in a complex corporate environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
  • CPA, CFA, or CBV designation required
  • Proven experience supporting senior leadership with strategic financial insights and decision‑support
  • Advanced Power BI skills and strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
  • Expert financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect financial results to operational performance drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑finance audiences
  • Experience working on enterprise programs or large‑scale transformation environments preferred
