As a Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of the General Mills Team and are expected to contribute your ideas and suggestions from day one.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work closely with a Customer Team, partnering with Sales Leaders and Customer Account Managers to help deliver organizational goals.
- Apply financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on sustainable, profitable growth initiatives, and evaluate the internal & external performance of the customer.
- Serve as a strategic partner to influence decisions that align with both short- & long-term Customer strategies.
- Lead the Monthly Business Review process; analyze performance results, drivers of change, and key strategies.
- Present findings to various levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership.
- Lead the monthly trade review process, ensuring adherence to accounting standards & internal controls while maintaining accuracy in monthly forecasting.
- Partner with teams to ensure effective execution of customer agreements and Revenue Management Strategies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a BA, BBA, BSc, HBA, BCOMM, or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a finance-related role.
- Possess strong business and financial acumen with the ability to generate meaningful insights that lead to outstanding results through collaboration with Sales Teams.
- Be a team player with strong cross-functional partnership skills and the ability to influence others.
- Have a strong application of technical/financial expertise.
- Be a critical thinker capable of making tradeoffs in a dynamic environment.
- Communicate effectively and translate financial analysis & insights succinctly.
- Provide recommendations and creative solutions to business problems.
- Possess a growth mindset and a passion for self-development.
- Previous experience in CPG is preferred.
