Job summary

Banyan Software seeks an Senior AI Business Analyst to partner with Finance across Tax, Controllership, Treasury, FP&A, and Opco teams. You will translate finance needs into AI initiatives, prototype tools, and drive adoption while measuring impact across portfolio companies.

You will work with Looker, Power BI, and Tableau to build analytics, forecast cash, optimize tax and close processes, and shape the AI roadmap for finance. This is a hybrid Toronto role with a strong data‑driven mandate.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, or tax roles with AI/ data focus.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML solutions in a corporate finance setting.
• Strong SQL, Python or R, and data analysis tooling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with tax, controllership, treasury, FP&A, and Opco teams to identify AI opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into AI/DS projects and measurable ROI.
• Prototype and ship AI tools, drive adoption, and track impact across finance.
• Define KPIs to monitor performance, savings, and decision quality.
