Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is expanding and looking for a motivated Finance professional to join our Brampton team.

The role involves preparing consolidated financial statements, performing day-to-day accounting, and supporting month-end closes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA designation or active CPA candidate, and at least 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; aptitude to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Sage 300 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements from the general ledger and departments.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings.
• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including monthly accounting, reports, and month-end closing.
• Develop and analyze financial reports using advanced spreadsheet tools to verify data.
• Prepare general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain financial records.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for compilation engagements.
• Evaluate internal procedures and recommend improvements.
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
