Position Profile

Kununurra maternity unit has an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified Midwives to engage in a Fly-in, Fly-Out (FIFO) arrangement for a 6 month period, with the possibility of extension and / or permanency.

These positions are suited to midwives who are passionate about caring for women throughout the whole continuum of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care in a continuity of care type model. Commitment to the diverse Kimberley community, a team focus, and flexibility is essential to ensuring women and families have access to world class midwifery and maternity services across the continuum of care in regional WA.

Information for Successful candidate
  • This is for fixed term part time appointment with the possibility of extension and / or permanency.
  • 12-hour shifts over a 12-week roster template.
  • 15 days rostered on, 13 days rostered off, including paid travel time.
  • A mix of days and nights.
  • On Call
