Job summary

Croptimistic Technology in Saskatchewan is seeking a FieldTechnician for a temporary role in Yorkton, starting immediately through October 30, 2026. You will reside in Yorkton, SK, or within a one hour radius, and work hands-on in the SWAT process on the farm ecosystem.

The position involves soil sampling, brand representation, and adherence to safety and quality standards while coordinating with teams in the field.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Class 5 driver’s license may be required.
• Willingness to overtime including Saturdays and travel for overnight stays.

As the FieldTechnician you will be responsible for soil sampling, which is an integral part of the SWAT process at Croptimistic. This is a temporary position, beginning immediately and continuing through October 30, 2026. The successful candidate will reside in Yorkton, SK, or within a one hour radius.

• Soil sample fields using SWAT MAPS, following GPS-referenced points
• Champion the brand

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending and safely lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and/or experience considered an asset
• Class 5 driver’s license (abstract may be requested)
• Must be willing to work overtime including Saturdays
• Able to travel, including overnight stays
