Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience as a heavy-duty or construction equipment mechanic.
  • 3 years of experience as a road technician.
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Main Responsibilities
  • Employ diagnostic methodologies to determine repairs required over the telephone and on site.
  • Explain diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
  • Efficiently plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenance.
  • Complete the various service documents clearly within the prescribed time.
  • Order parts needed to repair and maintain equipment.
  • Follow procedures for Warranty work and parts crediting.
  • Promote Manulift values to existing and potential clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience And Desired Skills
  • Diploma in mechanics (heavy equipment);
  • 5 – 10 years of experience as a heavy-duty or construction equipment mechanic;
  • 3 years of experience as a road technician;
  • Advanced knowledge in hydraulics, electrical and electronic;
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record;
  • Good work ethic, meticulous, motivated and independent;
  • Solid aptitude in diagnostic;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
