Main Responsibilities
- Employ diagnostic methodologies to determine repairs required over the telephone and on site.
- Explain diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Efficiently plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Complete the various service documents clearly within the prescribed time.
- Order parts needed to repair and maintain equipment.
- Follow procedures for Warranty work and parts crediting.
- Promote Manulift values to existing and potential clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience And Desired Skills
- Diploma in mechanics (heavy equipment);
- 5 – 10 years of experience as a heavy-duty or construction equipment mechanic;
- 3 years of experience as a road technician;
- Advanced knowledge in hydraulics, electrical and electronic;
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record;
- Good work ethic, meticulous, motivated and independent;
- Solid aptitude in diagnostic;
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
