Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a conveyor splice technician at Quality Belt Maintenance Ltd. The Splice Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to conveyor belt maintenance, including splicing, installing, repairing, and using hand tools. This role is primarily based in Hamilton, ON, but will also require travel abilities. Training will be provided.

Qualifications
  • Conveyor maintenance and repair (asset, will train)
  • Previous experience in similar industrial, marine, or construction environments (a plus)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and team oriented
  • Experience operating forklifts and other site equipment (training will be provided)
  • Ability to travel frequently and work variable hours, including nights/weekends/holidays
  • After-hours and overtime availability a must
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (training provided)
  • Valid Canadian passport (required for international travel)
  • Valid Ontario drivers license (G or G2 minimum)
