Your role

Your mission is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in the oil-free air rental business in North America.

As a Field Service Technician, you will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain the fleet in the field
  • Repair equipment in the field and at customer locations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
  • Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
  • Improve measurable success towards business targets
  • Document all work performed daily using company-provided hardware and software
To succeed, you need
  • 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial-related field service mechanic
  • An appropriate Electromechanical degree or training
  • Demonstrated expertise in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics
  • Good command of English; knowledge of a second language is a bonus
  • High energy levels
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes, including walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Job location

Based in our store in Acheson, Alberta, Canada, with travel to customer sites within the region. The position is hybrid, not requiring daily store visits.
