Overview

General Information for the field service technician role located in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Full-time, experienced, with salary range CAD 31,800 – 63,600 annually. The compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits plan and eligibility for paid time off, holidays, disability, retirement benefits, and more. Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding service to clients to ensure devices are working correctly and customers receive top-notch service.
  • Use electro-mechanical skills to repair devices. Xerox provides training through certified instructors, online courses, and in-house training.
  • Achieve key productivity goals, including five gross calls per day, an efficiency rating (fixing it right the first time) of 50% or higher, 2–4 hour response times, and minimizing parts costs.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Electro-mechanical experience, including using a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical circuits and the ability to read electrical schematics. Suitable backgrounds may include military or veteran experience with electro-mechanical work, HVAC/Cable Internet technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic, or Repair roles.
  • Superior time management skills and reliability. Punctuality and meeting deadlines are valued.
  • Valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance coverage. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is part of the technician background check.
  • This is a highly active role requiring the ability to lift 50 pounds, plus walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving for over 50% of the workday. Safety is a priority around electrical components.
