Compensation

Annual Base Salary: CAD $39,180 – $78,360.

About the Role

Our Technical Services division is growing rapidly and we need professional field service technicians to delight our customers. This role requires travel to the United States for training and you must hold an active U.S. visa.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding service to our clients, ensuring devices are functioning correctly and receive top‑notch service at all times.
  • Use electro‑mechanical skills to repair devices, with training provided by certified instructors, online resources, and in‑house programs. A good foundation of electrical and mechanical knowledge accelerates learning.
  • Achieve key productivity goals, including 5 gross calls per day, an efficiency rating of 50% or higher (fixing right the first time), response time commitments of 2–4 hours, and minimizing parts costs.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Electro‑mechanical experience: using a multimeter to troubleshoot circuits, reading electrical schematics, and experience as a military or veteran technician, HVAC/cable technician, electrician, automotive mechanic, or repair specialist.
  • Superior time‑management skills and reliability. Punctuality and dependability are essential.
  • Valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage. A Motor Vehicle Record is part of the background check.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, stand, squat, bend, and drive for over 50% of the workday.
Success in the First 60 Days
  • Complete new‑hire training and technical training courses, establishing a solid foundation in company and customer‑service culture.
  • Understand call load, territory alignment, and client‑satisfaction expectations.
  • Gain thorough knowledge of equipment and inventory required to support your territory.
  • Perform service calls independently and correctly.
