Job summary

NCR Voyix is hiring a Field Service Technician I in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. You will perform installations, maintenance, and service calls on electromechanical equipment at customer locations within your territory.

Ideal candidates are locally based, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel in the US as needed. The role offers home base in Deer Lake and a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Reside locally within the assigned geographic area.
• Authorized to travel to the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets NCRV fleet requirements.
• Computer skills, basic electronics knowledge, and familiarity with certain hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to travel extensively, including long driving days.
• Rotating shifts and weekend work.
• Flexible schedule – rotating shifts within established teams.
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs unassisted, and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach and perform repetitive grasping.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, maintenance, and service calls at customer locations quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain electromechanical equipment, such as self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Complete maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and system refurbishment work.
