The role supports the Grande Prairie and Fox Creek area with a 15-day rotational schedule. Candidates should have knowledge of oilfield equipment and hold a valid Class 5 driver's license. Job Summary

Field Service Technicians perform a variety of tasks such as installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our network and electronic monitoring recording products and automatic drilling systems. This role will support the Grande Prairie and Fox Creek area in a 15 day rotational schedule.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronics servicing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
  • Cleaning and management of assigned tools and vehicle.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • 24-hour on-call duties.
  • Maintain strong business relationship with existing clients.
  • Communicate with Operations and Field Service Supervisor regularly, on all aspects of service.
  • Complete reporting, job and billing paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience)
  • Knowledge and experience with oilfield equipment and service work is an asset.
  • Experience with schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • CSO/H2S Certifications.
Technical Requirements (software or program knowledge needed)
  • Computer and network skills an asset
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset

This position is classified as safety sensitive and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.
