Job summary

TFI Canada is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform offsite and onsite maintenance and repair of commercial food equipment. You will ensure top customer service while diagnosing and fixing FCBev units, fryers and ovens, with on-the-job training provided.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of technician experience, a trade or college diploma, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. A valid driver’s license and smartphone/tablet literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Trade or college diploma in a technical field.
• 2–3 years of technician experience.
• Ability to read and follow detailed English instructions.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and test a variety of commercial food equipment.
• Interact with customers professionally and address concerns.
• Respond quickly to service calls, PMs and installs.
• Diagnose and complete repairs quickly and accurately.
• Use TFI's mobile service system to manage work orders.
• Maintain an orderly parts inventory in the service vehicle.
• Travel for training and occasional overnight travel when required.
